They are less flexible
than the premium gloves. Great for medium or big dogs
, maybe not so much for smaller dogs and cats, because of the size of the surface of the five fingered glove padding. But will get the job done no matter the size of the pet.
They fit big hands like mine no problem. My wife with average size hands had no problem with them either. But people with smaller hands may be a bit uncomfortable (possibly too big), but the Velcro will keep it in place.
The Velcro could be a bit longer, but holds enough to keep the glove in place when vigorously rubbing my dog.
Some hair will stick to the Velcro, so you will have to remove a few loose hairs afterwards.
The pins on the glove get in between the hairs but not very deep for dogs with deep under coats.
The hair will build up on the glove, but maybe not like some pictures you may have seen.
To remove the hair from the glove when you are wearing them on both hands, I find it works fine to just rub your hands together (Tip: have a small garbage can beside you, so you can “empty” your hands right in there).
The breathable back is nice, my hands did not sweat.
Because I have big hands the bottom of the glove (with the Velcro band) is a bit close to the base of my hand, making the fit a bit uncomfortable, but doesn’t really bother me.
The pins do wear down over time, but should last about a year (all depending on frequency, type of hair, length of time of use, pressure applied and size of dog or cat).
I would recommend having more than one pair as a backup (or a gift to friend).
